Who AM I

I am not just another architectural photographer who takes pictures of your house for display. I am passionate about capturing little details of the architect’s vision that turn a building into a home. My skills capture every line, texture, and light pattern that tells a story, and I strive to present this story through every captured image and video. From stunning exteriors to intimate interiors, my focus stays on composition, atmosphere, and authenticity. I don’t take images to display property, but capture emotion. I highlight the design excellence that connects viewers to the space in a meaningful way.

VISION SPACE PHOTO — FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Luxury Interior & Exterior Photography for Designers, Builders, and Architects

My standard usage license gives you the right to use the images I create for your own business marketing—forever. You may use the photos across all brand-owned platforms, including:

  • Website + online portfolio
  • Printed brochures + presentations
  • Email campaigns
  • Organic social media
  • Award submissions
  • Your pitch decks, proposals, and case studies

What’s not included:

  • Any editorial placements (magazines, news, publications)
  • Paid advertising of any kind (print, digital, outdoor, boosted posts, etc.)
  • Television or broadcast use
  • Third-party usage (vendors, contractors, designers, product suppliers, etc.)

Important:
The client receives a usage license, not ownership.
The copyright always stays with the photographer and images cannot be resold, transferred, or shared with outside parties without purchasing an additional license.

Any paid advertising, promotional campaigns, or high-exposure media will require a custom usage quote based on the media buy, audience size, and placement details.

Editing is where my work truly becomes art. Every image is hand-crafted and edited by me personally—no outsourcing.

Here’s how I categorize my editing:

Basic Editing

Included for all images.

  • Color correction
  • Exposure + clarity adjustment
  • Lens + perspective correction
  • Minor cleanup for balance + consistency

Standard Editing

Included for all composite images.

  • Removal of small distracting elements
(sprinklers, sensors, loose wires, wall smudges, small reflections, tiny debris)
  • Minor clean-ups that preserve the integrity of the design

Advanced/Extensive Editing

Billed hourly.
Examples include:

  • Removing furniture, cars, signage, or people
  • Major reconstruction or replacement of architectural elements
  • Eliminating large reflections, power lines, shadows
  • Changing colors or materials
  • Adding digital artwork/TV screens/graphics
  • Heavy retouching to damaged walls, ceilings, or flooring

Note:
Standard editing includes one round of revisions after proofs.
Extensive edits require additional time and are charged separately.

Most projects are delivered in 2–4 weeks, depending on complexity. High-end architectural photography requires detailed hand editing, so timelines can vary.

Factors that affect delivery time:

  • Project size — multi-day shoots naturally take longer
  • My editing queue — I typically have 3–6 projects in rotation
  • Editing complexity — images that require advanced retouching take more time
  • Client feedback speed — delayed decisions slow down the process

Important to know:

My work is crafted—not mass produced.
If you need next-day delivery, you can always ask—sometimes miracles happen.
But in general, luxury-level quality takes time, the same way a handcrafted piece of furniture does. You don’t rush craftsmanship.

High-quality photography is an investment, and I respect that.
I don’t typically discount rates, but here are two ways to reduce costs:

1. Refine the Shotlist

Instead of 20 images, maybe the project only needs 8–12 hero shots.
Fewer images = lower cost without sacrificing quality.

2. Bring in a Partner to Split Costs

Designers, builders, architects, product vendors, manufacturers—they all benefit from the same imagery.
If they join in, everyone pays less.

Many clients find that sharing a project actually saves them hundreds or thousands.

A shared-usage agreement allows multiple stakeholders on a project to legally use the same images while reducing their individual costs.

This works especially well for:

  • Architects
  • Builders
  • Interior designers
  • Material or product vendors
  • Contractors

How it works:

  • The main hiring client sets the core shotlist.
  • Additional vendors can “join the project” before the shoot by paying 20% of the creative fee.
  • That 20% for each additional party is added to the total project cost.
  • The final amount is split between all parties however you choose.

Example:

Base photo project = $5,000

Designer + Builder = 2 stakeholders
Builder opts in → adds 20% of $5,000 = $1,000
New total = $6,000
Split = $3,000 each
Designer saves $2,000 instantly.

Now a tile supplier wants in:
Another +20% of $5,000 = $1,000
New total = $7,000
Split between 3 = ~$2,333 each
Designer now saves $2,667 (over 50%).

It’s a smart, cost-efficient way to maximize your investment.

Note: Additional parties must be confirmed before the shoot. Anyone joining afterward must purchase images separately at standard rates.

No problem. Here are two options:

1. Reduce the Number of Images

Quality > quantity.
Five elite images will outperform twenty rushed ones—every time.

2. Multi-Project Bundle

If you have several projects coming up:
Book 3 photoshoots → Get the 4th free.
This gives you a built-in savings of 25% across your pipeline.

No.
The photographer always retains copyright.
This is standard in the creative industry.

You are licensing the images for specific uses—not purchasing ownership.

Unauthorized sharing, resale, or third-party usage can lead to copyright violations.

Pro Tip:
Always check your contract or ask your photographer before sending images to outside vendors. It can save you thousands and prevent legal issues.

Almost never.

Owning copyright means:

  • You control the images completely
  • I lose the ability to license them to others
  • I cannot use the images in my own portfolio
  • The lifetime value of the images is gone

A copyright buyout is typically priced at 3x the total project cost because it eliminates all future licensing potential.

The good news:

My expanded usage licenses give you broad flexibility—often everything you need—without the cost of a full copyright transfer.

These expanded licenses can include:

  • Paid ads
  • Print advertising
  • Unlimited online usage
  • Multi-vendor coverage

I’ll always help you decide which option fits your goals best.
